About Us

Mission Statement

“To serve veterans, which includes currently serving military & RCMP members, & their families, to promote Remembrance and to serve our Communities and our Country.”

Founded by Veterans and for Veterans, the Legion is devoted to supporting and advocating for the men and women who served our country and put their lives on the line for our freedoms and way of life.

At The Royal Canadian Legion, we are dedicated to expressing our gratitude for the sacrifices made by our Veterans. Through national and provincial Commands, Regional Branches & Members, we provide unwavering support and ensure their memory lives on through Remembrance.

 

Facility Rentals

Our Club Room is perfect for small to medium sized functions whether it be a birthday parties, anniversaries or reunions, fundraisers, funeral luncheons, celebration of life, Christmas party. There is a small area set aside if you have a band or just want to dance. We have a fully stocked bar at reasonable rates. You can have your function catered to by outside sources, no restrictions.

Services

Royal Canadian Legions offer free assistance to Veterans, Canadian Armed Forces members, RCMP, and their families, including help with Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) benefit claims, financial aid (The Poppy Fund provides emergency financial aid to Veterans and their families facing financial distress), mental health support, referrals, and assistance transitioning to civilian life. These services are delivered through a network of volunteer Branch Service officers and professional Command Service Officers across Canada.

Museum tours are available for small groups upon request.

By joining the Royal Canadian Legion, you will have the opportunity to become part of a community that is dedicated to helping veterans and their families. You will play a vital role in honoring and cherishing the memory of those who selflessly gave so much, ensuring their sacrifices for our freedom and prosperity are never forgotten.

 

Facility Rentals

The Legion Hall capacity is 368. Our hall has a generous sized stage to accommodate a large band. Perfect venue for weddings, any size meetings. Wet bar can be supplied if required at clubroom prices. A large white projector screen is available to use at no extra charge. See rental tab for more information. The legion can provide catering services or one can source others.

What you need to know about...

  • $50.00 yearly membership
  • Rewarding volunteer experiences that have a positive impact.
  • Meetings – all members are welcome and encouraged to attend monthly meetings at 7:30, the 2nd Tuesday each month in the Legion Club Room.
  • Wednesday – Saturday 4:00pm - 10:00pm. *May close earlier (8:30) if no customers
